Talking to your Children-Parent Cue-October 23, 2011

26 Oct

Another week and here is another conversation you can have with your children. As I reflect on how this theme of ‘creativity’ is affecting my life, my prayer is that you’re looking for creative ways to help someone as well. My prayer is that God will open doors for you to partner with the church and we together will fulfill God’s mission–Praying for you, Angelina

Bible Story: This Little Light of Mine (Sermon on the Mount, salt and light) • Matthew 5:14-16

Bottom Line: Use your imagination to do more good.

Memory Verse: “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10, NIV

Virtue: Creativity—using your imagination to do something unique.

Ask a kid: What creative gifts do you have? How could you use those gifts to help someone else?

Ask a parent: What people or organizations do you know of who use their creativity to help others?
