Talking to your Children-Parent Cue-October 16, 2011

19 Oct

Thank you all for making Generation Worship possible. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. My prayer is that Generation Worship became an environment for you and your family to hear God’s voice. Here is the parent cue that was used during Generation Worship so if you want to continue the conversation, please use the questions below. If you did not get a chance to make it to our worship this past Sunday, please use the questions below to talk to your children. Young Life Division is excited and eager to equip parents/caregiver to be spiritual leaders at home.  So please feel free to approach any of the leaders about how we can partner with you in creating an environment that will help families fall in love with God.–Angelina

Bible Story: More Than Words (David’s final words) • 2 Samuel 23:1-2

Bottom Line: Use your imagination to make your mark.

Memory Verse: “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10, NIV

Virtue: Creativity—using your imagination to do something unique.

Basic Truth: I need to make the wise choice.

Ask a kid: What is one way you can use your creativity to make your mark?

Ask a parent: How have you ever been able to use a tough situation in your life to generate creativity?
