Talking to your Children–Parent Cue-Sept 25 2011

29 Sep

Here is the last question for the month of September. Hope you have enjoyed your time talking to your kids. Looking forward to more in October–Angelina

Parent Cue-September 25, 2011:

Virtue: Knowledge—discovering something new so you can be better at whatever you do.

Bible Story: Hometown Teacher (Jesus teaching in the synagogue as a 30-year-old) • Luke 4:14-30

Bottom Line: When I discover what God says, I know how I should treat others.

Memory Verse: “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52, NIV

Basic Truth: I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Here is a great question you could use to talk to your children: What does Jesus say about how we should treat others?

Here is a question parents could use to reflect on their walk with God: What do you know about Jesus and how He treated others?
